Web sites are the backbone of the internet, but what many web surfers do not know is how hard it is to maintain these web sites. HTML can be cumbersome, especially when trying to change around a web site's layout and design. However, there is a better way. With the use of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) you can keep your content and your design/layout completely seperated.
CSS is a way to "style" your web site, without changing your HTML. CSS often exists in a seperate file and is used to control how HTML elements are displayed. The CSS file extension is ".css", and contains no content or information that would be of interest to the normal web surfer. Cascading Style Sheets are for design only and are a powerful tool to the serious web designer.

Why I'm learning this?
To learn HTML, XHTML and CSS
To show off:
To my boss
To my friends
To my dog
To that annoying guy living in my brain
Because I'm hopelessly addicted to the internet, so I may as well get paid for it.
